Hello and Welcome!

My name is Jacinta and I am a Brisbane based Naturoapth who has over 10 years experience in the Natural Therapies field.

In 2016 I graduated from Endeavour College of Natural Medicine with a Bachelor of Applied Science majoring in Naturoapthy. However, I first started my venture into Natural Health in 2006 as a certified massage therapist, and have worked in a variety of roles such as corporate seated massage, clinic-based massage therapy, home-based massage therapy and travelling massage therapist for musicians at festivals such as Soundwave, Laneway and Harvest.

After so many years of helping people with their muscular pain, I knew I wanted to advance my knowledge and broaden my skill set in order to assist people further in their health journey. It took me some time of contemplation and working as a receptionist in a multi-modality clinic to finally settle on Naturopathy.

To me Naturopathy is a lifestyle

It is a commitment to living your best life. This does not mean that you have to be perfect 100% of the time, that is unattainable and quite frankly boring. Life and in particular food (in my opinion), is meant to be enjoyed as much as it is needed to sustain life. I believe that knowledge is power and by educating clients on aspects of health and lifestyle that relate specifically to them, they make better choices.

I have many passions and interests in life and this translates into my work. I love to treat a vast range of conditions such as digestive, hormonal, stress, anxiety/depression and immune health. I am often drawn to working with women who are “burnt out” who have pushed themselves too far and are now experiencing fatigue, regular colds/flu’s, muscular pain, poor mental health and so on.

My aim is not to fill you up with a million supplements and herbs, instead it is to educate you and help you to re-asses your food and lifestyle choices. This leads to longer lasting results and gives you the power to change your own health status. *Please note, supplements and herbs are usually a necessary adjunct to diet and lifestyle changes, the length of time needed depends on the individual.

I gain so much joy from helping people find the tools that work well for them, their health and their life. In the end it is up to us as individuals to care for ourselves.

I can’t wait to meet you…

Jacinta Brinnand.
